For Allen Denver, owning his story has resulted in gratitude and resilience allowing him to share hope with others. Allen is a foster & adoptive parent, as well as a former foster-youth himself. He holds a degree in Math & Computer Science from Pepperdine University and has worked for Microsoft Corporation for the past 20 years. He hold two patents and has 2 patents-pending related to his work on software.
He and his wife, Angelina, have 6 full-time children, 5 of whom are adopted, and they have also been foster-parents for many children over many years. Allen is passionate about the cause of foster-care and adoption. He is deeply involved in the annual Seattle Refresh Conference for Foster & Adoptive Parents, is the director of the annual Refresh Family Camp for Foster & Adoptive Families, and is delighted to now serve on the inaugural board of Seattle Angels.
Allen is currently authoring two books – Fostering Success: A Story of Self-Discovery and Crucial Conversations for Dads of Daughters. His personal mission in life is to enable existing & prospective foster/adoptive parents and children to achieve their full potential.
