CaLEY Reeves
Risk taker, foster mom, fun aunt, adventurous spirit, big dreamer, most at peace hammocking in the mountains by a stream
Likes: Hiking, tending to her plants, crocheting, paddle boarding, running, camping, and traveling like a local
Dislikes: Cooking, clutter, crowded places, strong scents, and weeds
Caley’s connection to foster care began in high school when her family became a foster family. As a bio sibling to both a biological brother and two adopted sisters, she gained early insight into the unique challenges and joys within the system—sparking a lifelong desire to support children and families experiencing foster care. After earning her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Caley spent the next decade walking alongside patients and families during some of their most vulnerable seasons. Her favorite part of that work was always the relationships: building trust, creating space for people to feel seen and heard, and honoring their stories with empathy. Caley was previously a Love Box leader at a sister Angels chapter and has seen and experienced the positive impact that the program can have on the community. With a long-held passion for nonprofit work and a strong belief in the mission, she joined Seattle Angels in March 2025 and stepped into her current role in May. She is also pursuing a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership through the University of Washington to deepen her skills and impact.
She lives in Mukilteo with her husband and their two energetic (and slightly dramatic) dogs, Scruff and Milo. Together, they are licensed foster parents, currently providing respite and short-term placements—and always seeking ways to build a more connected, compassionate community.
