DIANA TAM
Wife, mother, and fiercely loyal friend. She has a heart to serve and loves to come alongside those who are hurting, need a listening ear or a shoulder to lean on. Her perfect days are when friends are over for a good meal and deep conversation.
Likes: travelling to sunny places, a good book, faith-based ministry, cooking and baking, being with friends who have become family, playing golf, pickle ball and volleyball (when her knees use to work) and a basketball enthusiast (especially when her daughter plays).
Dislikes: slow drivers, laundry & all household chores!
Diana arrived in Seattle at the age of 2 from Hong Kong - she’s proud to be from Seattle and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. She became a sports fan of the Seahawks and Sonics at age 5. Diana graduated from Franklin High School and then went on to receive her BA from UW. She became to 1st female in her extended family to graduate from college. After a corporate stint at Nordstrom, she joined her husband’s family business as book-keeper and HR. But her real love comes from serving her community. Her church community has become family and she loves to help others in their journey thru life. She also actively serves on a board of a non-profit basketball organization. This was the league she grew up playing basketball in, where she then put her own kids to learn the game and it has become a treasured community. Lifelong friendships have been built while learning the game of basketball. When she is not doing
community related events, you can find Diana enjoying her home life with her husband of over 25 years and their two daughers, who are now 19 and 16. She is also trying to figure their next travel adventures and one day is really hoping she can find a green thumb and learn to garden one day!
She is really encouraged and excited about being a part of the Seattle Angels community! Her heart is looking forward to being shaped by the love and care in learning more about foster families.
