Jess Ellsworth
Passionate advocate, community builder, and happiest when soaking up nature’s peace with a cup of coffee in hand.
Likes: coffee, baked goods (especially anything with chocolate), animals, spontaneous road trips, community events, and cozy nights in with a good book or movie.
Dislikes: Running out of hot water halfway through a shower, people who don’t use their turn signals, and the endless parade of “tiny” things that go wrong when you're running late. Also, socks with holes—no excuse for that.
With over a decade of nonprofit experience, Jess has dedicated much of her career to strengthening communities and solving problems. Her time as a former foster parent gave her deep insight into the importance of family, support systems, and advocacy for at-risk youth, fueling her lifelong passion for community care. Jess is known for finding silver linings in any situation—it's a trait that has served her well in navigating the ups and downs of nonprofit work.
Jess believes in the power of connection, whether it’s over a cup of coffee with a friend or through a community-driven initiative that brings people together. Whatever it takes to make the world a little bit better, she’s all in.
